Any jack type can be used with any
length of cable. For shorter lengths
the standard jack types are
Right Angle Jack to Right Angle Jack (For patching effects).
These are designated with a model identifier "A" - L20A, L50A.
For longer lengths the standard is
Right Angle Jack to Straight Jack
(For guitars with inputs located at
the sides of the guitar)
These are designated with a model
identifier "A" - L1A, L3A, L6A, L8A.
Straight Jack to Straight Jack
cables are available for all lengths
(designated "S" model identifier -
L20S, L50S, L1S, L3S, L6S, L8S)
The directionality of the cable is
marked with an arrow at both ends.
Custom lengths are also available for special order. See your local Laboga
cables dealer for details or contact us.
Laboga "Way of Sound" Directional Instrument Cables
Way of Sound cables are hand made and suitable for all instruments: electric guitars,
bass guitars, electro-acoustic guitars, keyboards connected to all amplifiers,
effects, etc. All cables are covered by a two - year guarantee*.
Connections are made in the direction shown on the cable. These cables are produced
in various configurations of length and kinds of plug - right-angle plugs and straight plugs (see left below for sizes and order codes).
Laboga use materials only of the highest quality. The wire is made to our special order.
It is made from oxygen - free copper and silver is added. An extremely high efficiency
of screening is achieved through the spiral wound screen.
This reduces microphonic effect, RF and EMF interference.
As a result, the sound is not disrupted even under extreme working conditions.
The Laboga "Way of Sound" cables have low capacity and attenuation.
Additionally, the outer cable sheathing is made from a material that prevents the cable from
twisting and which increases resistance to bending and breaking. Nevertheless, double cable
protection has been used in the most fragile place - the connection between
the wire and the jack. This has made a considerable improvement in the cable's longevity
under the hardest of working conditions.
Each cable is supplied coiled corresponding to the natural twist of the cable,
to enable the cable to be uncoiled without kinking or knotting.
The diameter of the cable is 7 mm.
How do the Laboga cables work ?
The directional concept consists of joining all of the connections according to the direction
on the cable's plugs - from the source of the sound towards the receiver.
The most simple example is in the case of connecting a guitar to the amplifier.
The same directional concept is used in all connections between various equipment,
e.g. in the effects loop, between effects, between guitar and effects and
between effects and amp, etc...
* The 2 - year guarantee does not cover damages caused by
inappropriate usage, mechanical damages caused by other equipment,
or any kind of modifications.
