The Xotic EP Booster is by far the best clean boost I have heard.

I used Xotic EP Booster in the new
"6 string theory" record I just did last week, Very cool! Thanks for all the cool stuff man. I use it all in the studio as I just use little pedals for recording.

The EP booster warms up any guitar signal. It turns even an average amplifier into a warm, vintage sounding tone. It adds a bit of "natural" sounding compression...i love it.. I have two. With the internal dip switches you can modify the sound to fit your personal set up. I have one set a little darker than the other..and use one in front and one behind my AC Booster...the possibilities are many...and most important, musical..

I was in Tokyo with my trio recently and the guys from Xotic brought an EP Booster for me to try. I plugged it into a small solid state practice amp and..... Wow!I was blown away at how it expanded the spectrum of the tone. I love how it warms up the signal without distortion and makes my sound sparkle. I used it the very next day at The Cotton Club, where we were performing for four nights. I never turned it off!
